Welcome to the Inevitable Gentleman, my desperate and slightly indulgent attempt to help a new generation of men become well, better men.
I promise this isn’t going to be a judgmental or preachy blog about how back in my day, men were far superior mortals to the whiny babies they’ve become since. Quite the opposite, in fact. With this publication, I aim to curate au courant culture and uncover hidden gems and bring to light the best life has to offer.
Sprinkled throughout, I’ll also shine a light on overlooked or forgotten gems whether they be in the form of spirits, fashion and film, manners and grooming products and how to stay in shape to look your best. (I did say I might get slightly indulgent, didn’t I?)
You may wonder where I get off extolling advice on a group of men from another age. Fair point. My aim is true. I think my calling lies in sharing my opinions on the things that have made my life better, happy or just plain interesting.
My goal is simple: to turn today’s man – no matter Millennial to Gen Xer – into a gentleman. Or at the very least, try to enrich a life not yet fully realized.
